The city runs a two-stage currency. The first stage is live and has no market behind it yet, on purpose.
Quantum PreCredits
pQTC is earned rather than bought. It transfers like any SPL token, but no liquidity pair exists for it, so there is no market price and no practical way to sell it. That is deliberate: the city can reward participation while it is still being built, without a market forming around something that has nothing behind it yet.

Quantum Credits
QTC is the final currency: a fixed cap, liquidity funded through an offering, and a role in governance and staking. It launches after the citizens collection sells out.
Migration
pQTC holders will be able to swap into QTC during the Token Generation Event. Ratios, the migration window and the anti-sybil rules are still to be announced.
